What Women Want

'What Women Want' is a movie which was released in the year 2000. It starred Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt in lead roles. The film was a huge success.

However, it was a reel life story. What really happens in real life is the question. I think hat people who are good looking and attractive have a lot of self-esteem, motivation and pride. That is why that the industrial revolution took place in Europe and not in the Arabic world.

That is also the reason why people say that girls should be more responsible than boys. We had seen the real life practical examples and evidences where girls or/and women have outsmarted guys in academic levels and in various competitions. In UPSC exams, we had seen that both in 2014 and 2015, women candidates have secured the top positions. Therefore, I can conclude that women want perfection in daily life.

Let me see that how far have I understood about women that what women want. I can safely assume with the examples and proofs that women mostly have zest, pride and motivation to achieve success and develop. However, I have discovered more about women with my personal experience and biggest encounter with different types of women is in the matrimonial sites where I got to learn much more about their behavior and what they really want.

In matrimonial sites, I could see that different women have different needs but majority of them wanted to marry men who are moral along with smartness. I met many women offline also and they were understanding to the needs of the family.

Attending counselling sessions - A personal experience

For me, attending counselling sessions has been a pleasurable experience. This is so because of the following reasons:

1.) I could share my experience and problems with the person who could understand my feelings and who can show sympathy towards me. I could narrate my school and college educational life, the problems which I faced for which I got sympathy and the goals which I achieved for which I was appreciated.

2.) Solutions to the problems were suggested by which I could move on with life. I could receive solutions to the problems because of which many road blocks to the path of success were removed. For e.g. I kept thinking about my humiliating experience with that Dravidian supervisor but I was told by Ma'm that how to deal with it.

3.) Life and daily tasks became more classified and structured. I was now able to organize my daily activities after the home tasks.

How immortality can preserve society's goals

Many people, especially those who are atheists or non- religious, very narrow mindlessly consider that everyone should enjoy life as they have got only one life to live. However, they have ignored the fact that science is developing faster than the past and researchers claim that human beings can be immortal in a few decades.

If people who believe that science may make them immortal someday then they would postpone the enjoyment and concentrate on achieving goals. If human beings become immortal, then they can achieve all three things; name, fame and enjoyment. More and more people will be dedicated to work.

Mortality zeroes down everything. Dhirubhai Ambani earned too much wealth but passed away on 2002. However, if he really wanted to use his money and fame for maximum benefit, he would have opted for storing his body in cryonics so that he could be revived in the future if science develops to that extent. Michael Jackson also tried to be immortal by asking for storing his corpse in cryonics but due to autopsy it got delayed and he could not do so.

Another benefit of immortality is that if a person has to risk his/her life for some purpose, they may take the risk as there is a option to restore their life even if the task results in death. For e.g. people may travel in plane, go by train to the destination even if there is a mediocre driver or pilot. In the making of movies stuntmen will not be afraid to perform dangerous tasks and in the army when there is war, soldiers will not be afraid to loose their lives because they know that they can resurrect even if they are dead.

What is the need for a good mental being

Humans and all other living beings have perceptions and feelings like motivation, pride, sympathy, emotions etc. Good mental health is necessary to achieve goals because unless we are mentally prepared to face the challenges of  the future, we will not be able to conquer the goals. For e.g. a person having excessive pride may not be able to prove as a good salesman because he cannot control negative reactions of the customer especially if it is directed towards him, whether the customer has proof to back up his allegations or not.

So, what is actually a good mental health? How do we define that? We ask these questions to understand good mental health better. People may define mental illness when a person does extra-ordinary things or something different than the masses. For e.g. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is called Mr. Perfectionist but he is often regarded as a mad person by many people because his style is different from the masses. Producer of '3 Idiots' Mr. Vidhu Vinod Chopra regarded Aamir as an insane person because Aamir produced 'Dangal' and invested heavy amount in the creation of the movie. However, Mr. Chopra's allegations proved to be baseless as Dangal became a superhit and appreciated by the audience which broke all records.

If a person controls his/her ego, has patience, rationality and is practical, then he/she can definitely achieve goals as he is mentally fit. From his/her failures, he/she can improve upon them, especially if the person has patience. Rationality can guide the person to relate the goals from cause and effect theory.

This is the reasoning according to me that a person can achieve goals if the person has good mental health.

Can human beings ever be immortal?

The Sens Foundation and Cryonics Institute are working very hard to make death non-existent and enable humans to live forever.

However, will it ever be possible and will these organizations ever achieve their goals? In addition to that, will common people avail the advantage rather than just rich and affluent class? These are the main questions.

Personally speaking, I would value living forever the most precious and treasurable gift. Anything less than immortality is a waste of resources. I want to live forever so that I can enjoy forever. I would fully support as much as I can to those individuals or organizations working towards achieving the goals of human immortality. People usually prefer enjoying at a youthful age when they are in college or in the midst of their age. If it is known that they can live forever, many of the ambitious people will probably prefer working for themselves and for the society rather than enjoying. This is because they believe that they can enjoy later as they will remain young in the future also and therefore they will postpone the enjoyment period later on. This is like having both two birds in bush and one in hand. Having faith in science is all that takes to be determined for achieving the goals. Therefore, I would request and plead to all those who prefer enjoying at young age to choose the option of working hard for their goals and also try to become financially well settled so that when in future science develops enough to allow humans to live forever then they can enjoy forever after becoming rich and affluent.

As far as the research and development goes, there has been significant progress for end aging. A 40 year old and a 17 year old are trapped in a baby's body and they are not growing. This disease is called Noonan syndrome, contrary to Progaria where people age fast. Many people like Fereidoun M. Esfandiary popularly known as FM-2030 predicted that everybody would immortal by 2030 AD and therefore 2030 was added in his nickname. Nanotechnology assures that this goal will be achieved by the year 2029 after increased knowledge of how human body functions. They intend to replace blood cells by nanobots which will perform thousand times more efficiently, by which we can conclude that not only that humans will be immortals but also will become superhumans. A Russian billionaire, Dmitry Itskov has claimed that by 2045 AD humans will have chance to live forever by uploading their brains to computers, which was also shown in fiction movies like Johnny Depp in 'Transcendence'.

If you have any views regarding immortality and what do you think about my article and its stand, then pls express your views in the comments below.

Are rules and theories of commerce irrational?

There are many rules and theories in commerce which have been made without giving any reason or sufficient reasons.

We have a rule in accounting in Real account that Debit what comes in and Credit what goes out. But, why it is that way and why not vice-versa has not been told.
However, debit is positive and credit is negative. I have found out the reason that why such rule is there because what comes in is added and what goes out is negative.

Another rule is accounting in Personal Accounting that Debit the receiver and Credit the giver is also existent in Accounting books without giving any reasons for the same.
However, I found out he reason without doing any extensive research but just using common sense. During Renaissance in Europe and initial stage of Capitalism, it made barter system obsolete and trading started mostly on the bases of credit to save time and other resources. Therefore, we can credit the goods account as it is going out but we cannot debit anything as cash is not received and goods are bought on credit. Therefore, this rule is made for double entry by debiting the debiting the account of purchaser and crediting goods (sales account).

Last rule is debit the expenses and credit the gains.
If what comes in is greater than what goes out then it is a profit while what going out is greater then it is a loss. This rule is as such because of filing the gap in double entry. It is a rule as such because at the end of the accounting year, we have to calculate profit and loss for every transaction incase of single entry and double entry saves time and effort by simultaneously recording profit and loss for every transaction.

UPSC annual exams for the post of IAS/IPS/IRS etc.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), a government body of India, situated at Shah Jahan Road near India Gate holds exams annually for the selection of the post of IAS/IPS/IRS etc.

Every year, about 9-10 lac candidates from all over India apply for the positions and a handful of about only 1000 candidates are selected after going through 3 stages of the selection procedure. First is a preliminary exam of multiple choice questions, second is Mains exam of subjective type questions, and finally the third stage is interview by which candidates are selected and then sent for training. After many months of training they are given the post of IAS/IPS or whatever they qualify for.

However, this is a very tough exam as I already mentioned that out of lacs of candidates, only a handful of them around 1000 are selected. After GaoKao exam in China which is the world's toughest exam UPSC ranks second in the list of world's toughest exams. The course of General Knowledge is so vast that many candidates, including me at one point of time got confused as to what should be learnt and understood and what should not be.

It has also caused distress and disappointment for candidates and some have even committed suicide due to their failure to clear the exam. In 2013, an aspirant doctored and forged documents to impress his family members and his friends in Facebook. However, he could not hide his failure for long and when he knew that truth will definitely come someday somehow, he committed suicide.

The solution to this according to me is that candidates should start preparation for UPSC exams from childhood itself as the General Knowledge course is very vast. They should also keep an option available like trying for State Civil Services if the Central Civil Services is not their cup of tea because the State Civil Services Exams are about 50% easier than Central Civil Services Exam.
